The cycle of a project at the Ibero-American Foundation

How We Work

At the Ibero American Foundation, human development is understood from a holistic perspective, encompassing the entirety of the individual and rooted in the respect, protection, and guarantee of human rights. This approach requires strengthening economic, social, and cultural rights to ensure sustainable development processes and safeguard fundamental freedoms.

Our projects aim to realize people’s rights by addressing inequalities and discriminatory practices that hinder development. We prioritize working with the most vulnerable populations, who face the greatest obstacles in exercising their rights. Development initiatives are implemented through activities and interventions that promote the integral empowerment of individuals in developing countries, with particular attention to environmental care.

Building, developing, and strengthening local capacities is fundamental to ensuring that communities assume ownership and leadership of development processes effectively and sustainably, guaranteeing continuity once external support concludes.

The project cycle at the Ibero American Foundation reflects these principles, ensuring participation, accountability, and sustainability in every stage—from needs assessment and design, through implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
